“Good job keep it up”

“My renewed subscription to Interior Design Magazine was sparked by Cindy Allen?s ?CindyGram? and her wonderful interviews of international designers doing their thing. As a tastemaker Allen does a great job of opening up the world of design. The magazine has surpassed the boring drab color schemes of the past. However, I'm a bit disappointed in the products and content, as I feel it represents only a small fraction of what is possible now with all that is happening in recyclables and renewables. I would like to see so much more attention to the lighting and lighting techniques for interior designers instead of artificial light handled as decorative. An ongoing discussion of where we stand in comparison to the lobbying powers of the AIA and architectural community always leads for an interesting discussion. As well as licensing challenges. Groovy designs are great and an inspiration but focused technical information is so important for moving the industry where it needs to go to meet zero emissions. Susan Steindler, io design”
